JK is a women-owned brand and communications agency that helps companies tell powerful, purposeful stories—reaching everyone from customers to employees to investors. As we expand our capabilities to include Public Relations, we’re seeking a seasoned PR Consultant (or boutique firm) to help us shape and grow this function.

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic partner who can flex between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll collaborate with us on both business development and client delivery—providing PR insights during pitches, helping us shape smart offerings, and leading or supporting the PR work we win together.

We’re open to different partnership models, but experience working with creative agencies is a big plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Pitch & Proposal Support – Advise on PR strategy and positioning during new business opportunities and RFPs

  • Build & Support Sellable Offerings – Help define and PR services for integration into our broader capabilities

  • Client Execution – Lead or support the execution of PR campaigns across earned, shared, and owned channels

  • Strategic Counsel – Align PR efforts with brand, marketing, and communications strategies

  • Content & Messaging – Craft compelling press materials, pitches, thought leadership, and executive comms

  • Media Relations – Bring strong national and trade media relationships across key verticals

  • Measurement – Define KPIs and provide campaign reporting and analysis

 

Must-Have Experience (7+ years)

  • Media training & coaching

  • Reputation management & monitoring

  • Content development & editorial oversight
